Free Places to Post Your Online Portfolio

If you are a web designer, graphic designer, or artist, then here is a list of websites where you can post a free online portfolio. Even if you are in a different profession, if you have images to upload that can represent your work skills, then check out these sites:

1. Behance – I tried this out and my only frustration was that sometimes resizing the pictures on their interface was kind of glitchy. Otherwise it is a very cool site and easy to use. Social functionality allows you to follow other creative professionals.

2. Coroflot – You can also upload a portfolio to Coroflot. I couldn’t get it to publish, but perhaps they have to approve it first. Another nice thing is that they have job postings that you can apply to.

3. Carbonmade – I found out about Carbonmade when a graphic designer applied to a job posting of mine. The layout is nice and it is one of the more popular sites for posting your online portfolio. It only allows 5 projects with 35 images total, which is enough for most people, then you have to upgrade to the $12/month plan if you want more.

  1. Hi Brian, I trust all is well, and tell me what have you found to be the most challenging with sustaining a steady income through e commerce and advertising? I am in the beginning stages of setting up a freelance business and my blog focus will be on internet marketing and research.
    what are your thoughts?
    Enjoy your day

Hi Jireh. I think the hardest part is managing your resources properly so that you can both grow and take care of your current customers at the same time.
